SPACEVELO E-Bike Limited Warranty Policy
1. Warranty Coverage & Duration
SPACEVELO warrants that all new e-bikes and components are free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for the following periods:
Frame, Fork, Handlebar: 2 years (structural defects only).
Motor & Electrical System (Controller, Display, Wiring): 2 years.
Battery: 2 years or 500 full charge cycles (whichever comes first), with a minimum capacity retention of 70%. Proof of charge cycles (Battery diagnostics can be performed using the SPACEVELO mobile app or by contacting our support team for assistance) is required.
Mechanical Components (Gears, Shifters, Brakes excluding pads, Pedals): 2 years.
2. What’s Not Covered This warranty does not cover:
Normal wear & tear: Tires, brake pads, chains, grips, cables.
Damage from: Improper assembly, maintenance, or use of non-original parts.Accidents, misuse, neglect (e.g., overloading, water immersion).
Damage caused by exposure to conditions beyond normal use, including but not limited to:
A: Saltwater submersion
B: Prolonged storage in temperatures below -10°C or above 50°C
C: Frequent riding in heavy rain or saltwater spray
Unauthorized modifications to the frame, fork, or electrical system.
Cosmetic damage: Scratches, dents, or paint fading.
3. Warranty Claim Process
Contact SPACEVELO within 30 days of discovering the defect:

Provide proof of purchase (order number/receipt) and:
A detailed description of the defect, including photos and video.
For battery claims, provide diagnostic reports or charge cycle records.
Resolution:
Approved claims: Repair or replacement within 5–10 business days (after receiving the defective part). SPACEVELO covers round-trip shipping costs for warranty repairs within the U.S. International customers are responsible for shipping fees unless local laws require otherwise. Contact us for details.
Denied claims: Written explanation and options for paid repair.
4. Important Terms
Refurbished parts certified by SPACEVELO may be used for repairs. We will notify you and offer the option to upgrade to new parts at an additional cost.
Non-transferable (valid only for the original purchaser).
Does not override statutory rights (e.g., California’s Song-Beverly Act).
5. Safety & Compliance
Battery safety: Use only original SPACEVELO chargers. Do not expose batteries to fire, water, or temperatures above 40°C (104°F).
This warranty complies with consumer protection laws in the regions we serve, including:
Google Merchant Center’s warranty disclosure requirements.
