SPACEVELO Electric Bicycles Limited Warranty Policy
Effective Date: The warranty period commences from the date of receipt following the purchase of a SPACEVELO eBike by the customer.
Scope: This Warranty Policy ("Policy") applies to all new SPACEVELO electric bicycles ("eBikes") purchased directly from SPACEVELO or an authorized SPACEVELO retailer by the original purchaser ("Customer"). The Policy outlines the coverage, exclusions, and procedures for claiming warranty service.
- Warranty Coverage
Term:
The eBike and its components are covered under warranty for one year from the date of purchase against manufacturing defects.
The battery is covered under warranty for one year, with a guaranteed capacity of at least 70% after one year or 500 full charge cycles, whichever comes first.
Components Covered:
Frame, Fork, Stem, Handlebar: Covered against structural defects and workmanship.
Electrical Components: Motor, Controller, Display, Battery, and Wiring are covered against defects in materials and workmanship.
Mechanical Components: Gears, Shifters, Brakes (excluding brake pads), and Pedals are covered against defects in materials and workmanship.
- Warranty Exclusions
This Warranty does not cover:
Normal wear and tear, including tires, brake pads, chains, grips, and cables.
Damage resulting from improper assembly, maintenance, or installation of parts or accessories not originally intended or compatible with the eBike as sold.
Damage or failure due to accident, misuse, abuse, or neglect (e.g., riding with heavy loads, submersion in water).
Cosmetic issues such as fading, scratches, or dents.
Any modification to the frame, fork, or electrical system.
- Claiming Warranty
Notification: To initiate a warranty claim, the Customer must contact SPACEVELO Customer Service within 30 days of discovering the defect, providing:
Proof of purchase.
Detailed description of the issue.
Clear photographs or video evidence.
Assessment: SPACEVELO will assess the claim and may request further information. If the claim is approved, SPACEVELO will, at its discretion:
Repair the defective component.
Replace the defective component with the same or similar model.
Offer a partial refund or credit towards future purchases if repair or replacement is not feasible.
Shipping Costs: SPACEVELO does not cover any shipping costs for warranty claims. The customer is responsible for all shipping costs incurred.
- Limitations
This Warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser.
SPACEVELO reserves the right to use refurbished or equivalent components for repairs or replacements.
Any repair or replacement under this Warranty does not extend the original warranty term.
- Legal Rights
This Warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state or country to country. SPACEVELO's responsibility under this Warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of defective products as stated above.
