SPACEVELO Electric Bicycles Limited Warranty Policy
1. Warranty Coverage
SPACEVELO warrants that all new electric bicycles ("E-Bikes") purchased directly from SPACEVELO or an authorized retailer will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for the following periods:
E-Bike Frames and Components: 1 year from date of purchase
Batteries: During the warranty period, if the battery capacity is less than 70% or the number of cycles exceeds 500 times (whichever comes first), it can be replaced. Charging records or diagnostic reports are required.
Motor and Electrical System: 1 year from date of purchase
2. Warranty Coverage
This warranty covers:
✓ Frame, fork and handlebars (structural defects only)
✓ Battery, motor, controller and wiring
✓ Gears, shifters and brakes (excluding brake pads)
3. Exclusions
This warranty does not cover:
✗ Tires, brake pads, chains, cables, grips.
Deterioration of gear and brake system performance due to normal wear and tear.
✗ Causes of damage:
Improper assembly/maintenance
Accident, misuse or neglect (e.g., overloading, immersion in water)
Overloading (riding in excess of the manufacturer's recommended maximum load).
Damage caused by immersion or extreme weather (e.g., rainstorm, salt spray corrosion).
Compatibility issues caused by the use of non-original accessories.
Unauthorized modifications
✗ Appearance damage (scratches, dents, fading)
4. Repair time
Repair or replacement is usually completed within 5-10 business days after receipt of the faulty part, depending on parts inventory.
5. Warranty Claim Process

Claim approved: Repair/replacement within 5-10 business days
Claim denied: Provide description of repair options
Repair or replacement is typically completed within 5-10 business days of receipt of the defective part, depending on parts inventory availability.
6. IMPORTANT
Customers are responsible for all shipping costs during the warranty period
SPACEVELO may use refurbished/remanufactured parts for repairs
This warranty is not transferable to subsequent owners
Does not affect your statutory consumer rights
7. Statutory Rights
This warranty gives you specific statutory rights. You may have other rights under the laws of your state or province.
